Bojan Ilievski finds calm at Prohor Pčinjski Monastery

Bojan Ilievski, the singer who rose to fame after winning Zvezde Granda, has been balancing a busy touring schedule with quieter moments of reflection. After a run of emotional live appearances across the region, he recently shared footage from a short retreat that surprised fans: a visit to Prohor Pčinjski Monastery.

On Instagram Ilievski posted clips of the monastery's ornate interior and later a video from his car as he drove back toward his hometown, listening to music and taking a breather from city life.

Tribute show in Belgrade and a night to remember

His monastery visit followed a high-profile appearance at Belgrade's Sava Center, a concert held in honor of the late Toma Zdravković where Ilievski performed in front of a sold-out audience. Reflecting on the event, he told media: "I had a wonderful time and it is an honor that I was part of that concert, that I sang a song and met new people. I felt an incredible emotion, it was very emotional – everyone was on their feet from start to finish!"

Outside the big stages Ilievski remains in demand at private celebrations. A viral clip showed him energizing a wedding party where guests rewarded him with generous tips — some even sticking banknotes to his forehead as he laughed through the performance.

The singer, who recently celebrated his 27th birthday, has also been the subject of romance rumours after appearing with a mysterious woman at a public event. In a past interview on the show "Kafe Muabeti" he described the qualities he hopes for in a partner: "The most important thing for me is that she has character and understanding, that we can have a common language and that she is a good person." Whether his relationship status has changed remains private for now, while Ilievski keeps filling halls and sharing moments from both stage and quiet retreats.
