Besmir Bojku ahead of today's trip: I expect a tough match for Struga TL at Shkendija (A), we hope for a positive result

Struga TL travel to Čair on October 17, 2026, to face Shkendija (A) in the opening fixture of the 10th round; kickoff is scheduled for 12:00. The match also marks the start of the second half of the season.

Struga arrive after a defeat in Kumanovo in the previous round, which has raised the stakes for this away game. In the first round, Struga had won 3:0 at home against the newly promoted side in the Macedonian First Football League.

Team mood and preparations

Besmir Bojku, one of Struga TL’s key players, spoke ahead of the trip and stressed that the squad is determined to respond on the pitch.

“We expect a tough match, because Shkendija (A) is a quality opponent, and we are also playing away. Still, we will enter the pitch fully prepared and motivated, aiming to give everything and secure a positive result. We must be compact in defense, take advantage of the opportunities that arise and fight for every ball throughout the match.”

On belief in a positive outcome, Bojku added: “Of course we believe. The defeat to Bashkimi served as a lesson and we are aware that we must respond. We have a team with character and quality, so tomorrow we will give our maximum to show a different face on the pitch. We hope that with dedication, discipline and teamwork we can achieve a positive result tomorrow against Shkendija Arachinovo,” concluded Bojku.
