Borche Naumovski shows off his catch and shares fishing videos
The folk star posted videos and pictures from a fishing trip and was praised by followers; he had held a jubilee concert in Heraclea and performed in Kumanovo on 24 August.
Folk singer Borche Naumovski — widely known among peers as the "Minister of Estrada" — has been sharing scenes from a different kind of stage: the water. He posted short video clips and photos from a recent fishing trip, showing an impressive catch and writing that the pastime helps him relax.
From concerts to the lake
On his social feed he commented, "Lovely today, once again a wonderful day with Balich!" and added images and footage from the fishing outing. The posts quickly drew a flurry of likes and comments from followers and colleagues.
Naumovski is a public figure equally associated with music and outdoor hobbies: fishing and skiing have long been among his well‑known interests. In recent days he also posed proudly beside another fish he landed, sharing his satisfaction with fans.
Earlier this summer Naumovski staged a jubilee concert in Heraclea that attracted attention across the folk scene. Several fellow performers joined him on stage, including Tatjana Stefanovska, Daniela Temelkovska, Marjan Kocev, Mile Kuzmanovski and Trajche and Kate from the group Sonata; the event was hosted by Irena Spirovska.
A few weeks after that big show, on 24 August at the city square in Kumanovo he again won the audience with his newest song, "Bitolskite chupinja," for which he wrote both music and lyrics; the arrangement was produced by Kiril Stojchevski.
The latest fishing posts reinforced his image as a performer who easily switches between the stage and quieter pursuits — and his followers were quick to praise his skills both as an entertainer and as an angler.
