Chelsea set £100m asking price for Pedro Neto
The Blues want £100 million for the 26‑year‑old winger; Al‑Hilal have agreed terms but no official offer has been lodged.

Chelsea have placed a surprise £100 million price tag on Portuguese winger Pedro Neto, fueling a busy transfer situation as of 18 August 2026.
The 26-year-old has reportedly agreed personal terms with Saudi side Al-Hilal, and the Saudi club has opened talks with Chelsea, though no formal bid has been submitted yet. Manchester City are also said to be seriously interested in signing Neto.
Why the high valuation
Club sources say Chelsea justify the unusually steep fee by pointing to inflated market values for wide attackers this transfer window — a trend highlighted by massive deals such as the potential €140 million move for Yan Diomande to Real Madrid and the comparable fee Paris Saint-Germain are demanding from Liverpool for Bradley Barcola.
Chelsea paid Wolverhampton Wanderers £54 million for Neto in 2024. Since joining, Neto has been part of the club’s rotation and started the Blues’ most recent match against Real Sociedad, where he put in a strong performance.
For now, talks continue quietly between Chelsea and Al-Hilal, while Manchester City’s interest keeps the situation open. It remains unclear whether any club will meet Chelsea’s asking price or if negotiations will lead to a different outcome before the window closes.
