Four players make their first European Championship appearances as the team departs for Sofia on September 7, 2026.

Coach Josko Milenkoski included four newcomers in North Macedonia's roster for EuroVolley 2026, expanding the squad with fresh options ahead of the continental tournament.
The players making their first appearance in a senior European championship are setter David Stojanov, opposite Kristijan Ilijev, middle blocker Mihajlo Miraschiev and libero Filip Jovanov. The remainder of the 14-player group consists of experienced names already familiar with the pressure of major events.
Group B assignments and travel
The national delegation departed by bus for Sofia on September 7, 2026, where North Macedonia will compete in Group B from September 9 to 16. The team will face host Bulgaria, reigning European champion Poland, Ukraine, Portugal and Israel.
Milenkoski has chosen a balance of veterans and debutants with an eye on competitive matches in a tough section of the draw. The newcomers are expected to add depth and give the coach tactical alternatives during the tournament.
The team arrives in Sofia to begin final preparations and adapt to the venue before the opening match of Group B on September 9, 2026.
