Crvena Zvezda defeated Maccabi Tel Aviv 100-78 in Round 8 of the EuroLeague on October 27, 2026, delivering a convincing home victory in Belgrade.
Strong start set the tone
The hosts opened the game with an aggressive tempo and seized control within the first five to six minutes. Tyson Carter caught fire early, making all four of his three-point attempts and totaling 14 points in the game's opening 10 minutes, while Kris Jones orchestrated the attack with seven assists in that same stretch.
Crvena Zvezda dominated the first quarter, scoring 34 points and opening a 19-point margin that Maccabi never managed to overcome. Maccabi tried to respond with pick-and-roll plays through its frontcourt, but the Belgrade side adjusted by switching on defense and managing assignments effectively.
Stat leaders for the winners included Tyson Carter with 24 points, four rebounds and two assists. Jared Butler added 21 points and Jordan Nwora finished with 16. Kris Jones ended the game with eight points and nine assists.
For Maccabi, Jimmy Clark was the top scorer with 19 points, Roman Sorkin had 13, and both Yam Madar and Armando Bacot contributed seven points each.
Elsewhere in EuroLeague play that evening, Barcelona beat Bayern Munich 88-84, and Paris triumphed over Dubai 99-93.
