Daniela Temelkovska still performs with her son and savors life as a grandmother
The singer, in her sixth decade, still tours with her son Daniel Blazhevski and says genetics keep her looking youthful.

Daniela Temelkovska remains one of North Macedonia’s most recognisable performers, admired for a look that has changed little over the years. Now in her sixth decade, she credits her appearance to strong genetics and a preference for keeping things natural: "I was born fair and blonde and I do not plan to ever change the color of my hair," she has said in interviews.
From childhood music classes to singing at her wedding
Her musical path began early — attending music school, learning the accordion and performing at the children's festival Zlaten Slavejche — but a decisive moment came later, when she sang for the first time in public at her own wedding. That spontaneous performance helped launch the career that followed.
Temelkovska went on to build a long-standing presence on the stage, combining a signature blonde look with carefully chosen stage outfits. She has frequently noted that cosmetic procedures are not the source of her youthfulness: "If my wish to become a singer had not come true, I would surely have become a doctor," she once remarked.
Her stage life has become a family affair. Her son, Daniel Blazhevski, followed in her footsteps and today they often perform together — a pairing that repeatedly surprises audiences who learn they are mother and son. After the arrival of her granddaughter Jana, Temelkovska embraced the role of grandmother with visible affection.
Speaking about her granddaughter, she said: "After little Jana came into our lives, we all became better people. I spend my free time with her — she is my warmest embrace, the most beautiful smile and the sweetest eyes." Those moments are frequently shared on social media, where fans praise both her looks and her sense of style.
Still active on stage and in public appearances, Temelkovska continues to announce concerts and post snapshots from performances. For many, she is living proof that some artists simply defy the passage of time, maintaining both presence and charm decades into their careers.
