Croatian pop singer Danijela Martinović surprised her Instagram followers with a striking summer image change: a short, elegant bob in a noticeable platinum-blonde shade, posted with the caption "A small change is always welcome." The photo collected thousands of likes within hours and drew a stream of admiring comments.

Fans praised the look — and made a familiar comparison

Followers applauded the makeover, with one writing, "You look like you are 25 years old," while others added: "Year after year more and more beautiful," "Honey," and "Always sweet, kind and dear." A devoted fan also commented on the singer's energy: "You are a sincere soul and you nurture the childlike spirit… you will always look younger."

Alongside compliments, a number of social-media users noted a resemblance to Danijela's former bandmate: "You look like Rozga" and "Now you are the same as Rozga" appeared repeatedly under the post, referring to Jelena Rozga, who for years has been associated with a similar platinum image.

Martinović added another playful line to the post: "I laugh in all languages. I am a polyglot." The new hairstyle arrives amid a busy summer schedule for the singer, who has been performing up and down the Croatian coast and filling concert venues across the region.

Danijela Martinović has been one of the region's most successful pop singers for decades, with a solo career that followed her rise as the frontwoman of the band Magazin. She also represented Croatia at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1998 with the song "Neka mi ne svane," finishing in a high fifth place.
