Two men from Kocani suspected of seven burglaries and three attempts
Two suspects, aged 26 and 43, are accused of seven thefts and three attempts in five eastern towns; one faces an additional obstruction charge.

Two men from Kocani have been detained on suspicion of carrying out a string of burglaries across eastern North Macedonia over a two-month span in August and September.
The suspects, aged 26 and 43, are alleged to have committed seven serious thefts and attempted three further break-ins. Police say the incidents occurred in several towns: Kocani, Vinica, Delchevo, Makedonska Kamenica and Probishtip.
House searches and seized items
Acting on a court order, investigators searched the two men’s homes and seized items that authorities believe may be linked to the reported thefts. The exact nature and value of the recovered objects were not disclosed.
Both suspects remain under investigation and are expected to face charges related to the burglaries. One of the men is additionally accused of obstruction of evidence.
Authorities continue to examine the seized material and to review other possible links to similar incidents in the region while the investigative procedure moves forward.
