Two-year-old son of TV presenter goes missing in Belgrade — found after half an hour

Two-year-old son of TV presenter Anđela Đurašković went missing in Belgrade and was found about half an hour later, the presenter wrote on social media. She said the child disappeared right before her eyes and that those thirty minutes felt like an eternity.
In a post on her social channels, Đurašković described the panic of the moment and how a chain of strangers came to her aid. She also shared how their reaction restored her faith in people after a terrifying half hour.
Passersby organised the search
According to her account, as soon as strangers saw a frightened mother they immediately joined the search and treated the situation as if they were looking for their own child. Two younger men approached her and reassured her with the words: "Ma'am, don't cry. Now we'll all spread out and we'll bring your child back to you."
She said the boy was returned to her just before the police arrived. "They did not walk past a woman who was crying. Everyone stopped. Everyone looked for someone else's child as if it were their own," she wrote.
Đurašković thanked the people who helped and noted that the episode — though terrifying — reminded her that strangers can become helpers in the worst moments.
