Eurofarm Pelister edge Krka 34–33 in second friendly in Slovenia
Bitola side won 34–33 in their second warm-up game in Slovenia as preparations continue under coach Lino Červar before the European League season.

Eurofarm Pelister secured a narrow 34–33 victory over Krka in Slovenia on August 11, 2026, booking a second consecutive positive result in their pre-season schedule. The win continues preparations under new coach Lino Červar as the Bitola side gets ready for domestic competition and a campaign in the EHF European League.
The match was tightly contested from start to finish, with Eurofarm Pelister edging Krka by a single goal. The club earlier held a friendly against the Qatar national team, coached by Veselin Vujović, as part of the same training stint.
Preparations and roster changes
Červar fielded a visibly changed squad in Slovenia: five players have left the club since last season while eight new signings have arrived to reinforce the roster. The coaching staff used the friendlies to test combinations and integrate newcomers ahead of competitive matches.
Officials described the victory as an important confidence boost, but also emphasised that work remains to be done ahead of the season opener. The coaching team focused on defensive organisation and transition play during the Slovenia camp.
Earlier, in a separate note, Alvarez declared war: "Do not count on me!"
