Evgenija Markovska: from catwalk to doctor of sciences, now enjoying family life
Former model turned academic, Markovska balances doctoral achievement with family life and a continued public presence.
Evgenija Markovska began her public career while still a teenager, appearing in music videos for well-known Macedonian singers and taking part in beauty contests before stepping away from full-time modelling to focus on her studies.
Last year she formally became a doctor of sciences, a milestone that followed years of academic work after leaving the runway. Today she is married to professor Dr. Velo Markovski and the couple have two children, Pavle and Katerina.
Maintaining the look
Despite two pregnancies, Markovska continues to attract attention for her figure and style. Her social media posts frequently receive compliments about her elegance and the way she carries herself.
She says she does not follow strict diets and "loves to eat chocolates," but credits an active lifestyle, caring for the children and regular fitness sessions for keeping her in shape.
