European Commission publishes official dates for clock changes through 2031
The timetable fixes the start and end dates for daylight saving through 2031 and notes the 01:00 UTC switching hour for 2027–2031.

The European Commission has published the official calendar for when clocks will be moved for daylight saving and standard time through 2031.
Under current EU rules, daylight saving time begins in the last week of March and ends in the last week of October each year.
This year, winter time will begin on 25 October, while daylight saving time in 2027 will begin on 28 March and end on 31 October.
Switching hour and legal status
The schedule published in the Official Journal of the EU states that, for the period 2027–2031, the clock changes will take place at 01:00 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).
Authorities prepared the timetable on the basis of the rules that are currently in force, which means the dates are procedural rather than a commitment that the practice will remain unchanged until 2031.
If new EU regulations are adopted before then, the twice‑yearly clock change could be abolished earlier.
The debate over ending seasonal clock changes in the EU has been ongoing for years. The European Parliament adopted a draft law in 2019 proposing to stop switching clocks in 2021, but implementation was postponed because member states failed to agree on which time to keep.
