North Macedonian supporters gathered in Lucerne on 06.10.2026, waving flags and chanting before the national team’s match.

North Macedonia’s organized supporter group, known as "Falanga," turned Lucerne’s streets into an away-day fan zone on 06.10.2026 20:32, hours before the national team took the pitch.
Fans set the tone with flags and chants
Groups of traveling supporters marched and gathered in central areas near the stadium, waving national flags and singing. The unmistakable chant "Macedonia, Macedonia..." echoed through surrounding blocks as fans moved toward the match entrance.
Those present described a vivid match-day atmosphere: coordinated banners, drums and bursts of singing that announced the Macedonian presence in the Swiss city well ahead of kickoff. Several short videos circulating on social platforms captured the scenes.
Club and neutral observers noted that the away support underlined the fans’ reputation for strong turnout abroad, with the Lucerne visit adding another chapter to their record of vocal backing on the road.
