FFM opens disciplinary case against FK Shkendija Aracinovo 77

The Football Federation's Disciplinary Commission has opened proceedings after incidents at two weekend matches, targeting two clubs, a club executive and imposing match bans on four players.

“The Disciplinary Commission at the Football Federation of North Macedonia made decisions after matches from the 10th round in the First MFL and the 8th round in the Second MFL, among which disciplinary proceedings against two clubs and a club official, as well as punishments for four footballers.

Pursuant disciplinary proceedings have been opened against FK Shkendija Aracinovo 77 due to poor organization of the 10th round First MFL match against FK Struga Trim Lum, namely because of the presence of unauthorised persons in official premises. Disciplinary proceedings have also been opened against Sulejman Alimi, executive director of FK Shkendija Aracinovo 77, due to a verbal attack and threats directed at the referee quartet after the same match.

Disciplinary proceedings have been opened against FK Kamjani due to poor organisation of the 8th round Second MFL match against FK Kozhuf.

At the same time, the Disciplinary Commission imposed suspensions on four players: Martin Todorov (FK Shkendija Aracinovo) – suspension of 2 matches; Darko Denkov (FK Detonit) – suspension of 2 matches; Enis Dervishi (FK Kamjani) – suspension of 3 matches; David Ristovski (AP Brera Strumica) – suspension of 1 match.”

Details and potential consequences

The measures refer to incidents registered during the 10th round of the First Macedonian Football League and the 8th round of the Second League. The disciplinary file against FK Shkendija Aracinovo 77 cites failures in match organisation, specifically unauthorised access to spaces reserved for officials.

In addition to the club-level procedure, the Commission singled out executive director Sulejman Alimi for alleged verbal aggression and threats aimed at the match referees. FK Kamjani faces a separate procedure for similar organisational shortcomings in their Second League fixture versus FK Kozhuf.

The four player suspensions are effective immediately and will affect team selections in upcoming rounds; the Commission may announce further penalties after concluding the ongoing proceedings.
