German Arrested in Radozhda After Filming Army Guard with a Drone
A German national was arrested after being found with a drone filming the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia guard in a prohibited zone in the village of Radozhda.
A German national was deprived of liberty yesterday in the Struga village of Radozhda after he was found filming the guard of the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia (ARM) with a drone at a location where filming is prohibited.

“On August 5, 2026 at 14:30 in the Struga village of Radozhda, A.S. (56) from Germany was deprived of liberty on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense ‘unauthorized entry into military facilities and making sketches or drawings of military facilities and combat equipment’, pursuant to Article 350 of the Criminal Code. He was found filming the guard in the village of Radozhda with a drone, a site owned by the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia (ARM), which is a prohibited zone for filming. Measures are being taken to fully clarify the incident, after which an appropriate report will follow,” the police said.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs says all necessary measures are being taken to fully establish the circumstances and framework of the incident. As stated, an appropriate report will be filed after the work is completed.
The suspicious man, listed by initials and age, remains in police procedure while investigative actions are ongoing pursuant to Article 350 of the Criminal Code.
