Hajduk beat Dinamo 2–1 in chaotic Poljud derby
Hajduk rallied from behind and prevailed 2–1 against Dinamo in Split as torrential rain disrupted the match.

October 10, 2026 — Hajduk came from behind to beat Dinamo 2–1 in the Croatian derby at Poljud, in a match that descended into chaos as heavy rain turned the pitch into a pool.
The fixture was played in Split before a sold-out Poljud. Dinamo took the lead early through Beljo, but the home side levelled when Mekkena inadvertently put the ball into his own net.
Second-half winner and a storm
In the 59th minute Sanyang struck to make it 2–1 for Hajduk. By then the weather in Split had deteriorated dramatically, with torrential rain drenching the stadium.
The surface became virtually unplayable and at one point the referee halted the game. Officials considered abandoning the match, but the contest ultimately continued and was completed with roughly fifteen minutes of added time.
The victory sent the Poljud crowd into jubilant celebration as Hajduk completed the comeback.
Earlier, Bayern managed only a draw at Augsburg.
