Juan Cuadrado has returned to his native Colombia and signed with Millonarios, the club confirmed on 11 September 2026. The 38-year-old winger joins the Bogotá side as a free agent after parting ways with Pisa.
Back to South America after 17 years in Europe
Cuadrado's move marks his first appearance in South American club football since he left in 2009. He began his professional career at Independiente Medellín before moving to Europe, where he spent the next 17 years with clubs including Udinese, Lecce, Fiorentina, Chelsea, Juventus, Inter, Atalanta and Pisa.
Most of his European success came during his time at Juventus, where he won five Serie A titles, four Coppa Italia trophies and two Supercoppa Italiana trophies. With Chelsea he was part of the squad that won the Premier League and the League Cup in the 2014/15 season.
Cuadrado also has a long international pedigree with Colombia, representing his country for more than a decade and featuring at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil and the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Millonarios have secured an experienced attacking option in Cuadrado, who arrives with a decorated résumé and the expectation of contributing both on and off the pitch as the team looks to strengthen its squad.
