Idže on the podium in Slovenia: new prototype already among Europe’s fastest
Igor Stefanovski finished third overall at Ilirska Bistrica on his debut with the new prototype in the FIA European Hill Climb Championship.

Igor "Idže" Stefanovski claimed a strong third place overall at the Ilirska Bistrica hill climb, marking an impressive debut with his new prototype in the FIA European Hill Climb Championship.
Debut among Europe's fastest
Stefanovski competed in Category 2, the class reserved for the quickest hill-climb cars and prototypes, and faced a field of 242 drivers from across Europe. The result places his new machine immediately among the continent’s top contenders.
The race drew experienced names such as Kevin and Sebastien Petit, Joseba Iraola Lanzagorta and Petr Trnka, but Stefanovski held his own to reach the podium in his very first outing with the new car.
"I am very pleased with the result. Third place in the overall standings in Slovenia, against 242 drivers from across Europe, and on my first debut with the new prototype, is a result that truly gives weight to my entire career. We showed that we have potential and that we can stand up to the best European drivers in this category," Stefanovski said.
He also thanked his backers and the team behind the project. "I would like to thank my supporters who once again stood behind my new sporting challenge without doubt. I am proud of my team as well; this is a collective result and proof that hard work and faith in the project deliver results," he added.
With a confident start in Slovenia, Stefanovski and his team have already turned their attention to the season finale in Buzet, Croatia. "Now we are focusing on Buzet. We expect a good result there as well to continue this nice European story," Igor announced proudly.
