Igor Dzhambazov remembers Dejan Bozhinovski on first anniversary

Actor and showman Igor Dzhambazov paid a public tribute on Instagram one year after the death of his longtime friend and collaborator, guitarist Dejan Bozhinovski — known to friends as "Deki" — who passed away following a long and difficult battle with cancer.

Dzhambazov posted a black-and-white photo of Bozhinovski holding his guitar, accompanied by a sad emoji and the words: "Exactly one year since this golden child left us for eternity…"

Alongside the photograph he also shared a clip from one of their joint performances and added another brief memory: "He melted the guitar like the greats…"

Bozhinovski was remembered by colleagues as a consummate professional, a photographer and a person with a selfless soul who lived for music. His sudden death a year ago prompted an outpouring of grief from the music community.
