Igor Kojic and pregnant partner Nikolina make first public appearance; Keba 'overjoyed' at the news
The couple attended Dragan 'Keba' Kojic’s concert in Rijeka and spoke about the pregnancy, family reactions and how their relationship began.
Igor Kojic appeared in public with his pregnant partner, Nikolina Shaponja, following recent confirmation that they are expecting their first child together. The couple arrived together at a concert by his father, singer Dragan Kojic "Keba", and posed for photographers before speaking to reporters.
Kojic said he and Nikolina were left deeply moved when they learned about the pregnancy and described his father's reaction as warm and immediate. "He was overjoyed. What else can one say?" he said when asked how Keba reacted.
Asked whether they were hoping for a son or a daughter, Kojic replied that they have no specific preference and that the most important thing is for the baby to be healthy.
Kojic also spoke briefly about how their relationship developed, stressing that it did not begin suddenly. "It's a long but beautiful story. Everything began slowly, from friendship," he explained.
Nikolina Shaponja, 27, originally from Rijeka, first came to public attention in 2019 when she was named first runner-up in the Miss Primorje-Gorski Kotar County pageant. She later became active in politics as a member of the Forum of Youth of the SDP and on the Youth Council of the City of Rijeka.
Igor Kojic has previously been married to Severina Vuckovic and Sofija Dacic. With this first joint public appearance just days after the pregnancy confirmation, the couple made clear they are eagerly awaiting the next chapter in their lives.
