Influencer Olivia Oras (27) dies after liposuction complications in Helsinki

Influencer Olivia Oras, 27, died on 2 September 2026 after suffering complications during an aesthetic procedure at a private clinic in Helsinki, her family has said.
Initial statements from the family said her death followed an "unsuccessful medical procedure" and they requested privacy while grieving. Later reporting revealed the operation was a routine liposuction.
Loss of consciousness during anaesthesia
According to the details made public, the problems began while Olivia was under anaesthesia and she lost consciousness. She was transferred urgently to a hospital where doctors worked to save her, but she succumbed to her complications.
Her parents have filed a criminal complaint against the clinic, alleging negligence and seeking to establish who is medically responsible for the tragic outcome.
The family says they want a full investigation to determine the exact medical responsibility for a loss that ended a young life. Authorities are expected to examine medical records and the clinic's procedures as part of any inquiry.
