Ivan Sapundžiev returns to Pelister as the club’s fourth signing

Pelister has added another player to its roster: Ivan Sapundžiev is the club's fourth signing ahead of the upcoming season. The move was announced on 31.07.2026 as the Bitola side continues to shape its squad.
Sapundžiev returns to the team where he previously competed between 2022 and 2024, taking part both in the domestic championship and in the ABA League during that spell.
The guard brings extensive experience in North Macedonian basketball and is expected to bolster Pelister's backcourt depth. He is known for his playmaking and veteran presence on the floor.
Across his career in the First Macedonian Basketball League, Sapundžiev has worn the jerseys of several domestic clubs: Karposh Sokoli, Feni Industri, Vardar and TFT Skopje.
Pelister's management presented Sapundžiev as the fourth reinforcement as the club prepares for the new campaign, adding an experienced option at guard to the roster.
The team now looks to integrate its recent additions in preseason training and to finalize preparations before the domestic season gets under way.
