Jana Vasilevska promoted from youth to Janta Volej senior squad

Janta Volej has promoted a homegrown talent to its senior roster: Jana Vasilevska, a player who began her volleyball journey in the club’s youth system and has now earned a place among the first-team squad.

The club announced the move on 14.10.2026, underlining that Vasilevska progressed through the youth ranks and reached a representative level before breaking into the senior side.

"Another young volleyball player who took her first sporting steps at Janta Volej and today is proudly part of our senior team. Growing through the club's youth categories, she has, with her talent, earned her place among the seniors and reached representative level. We are proud to have been part of her sporting development and we look forward to the successes that are yet to come," the Janta Volej camp said.

The club also shared the announcement on its social channels, where supporters and teammates welcomed the news. Vasilevska is the latest example of the team’s emphasis on developing players from within.

Coaches say the player’s steady progress through junior squads and exposure to higher-level training were decisive in the decision to promote her. The club expects her integration to strengthen squad depth ahead of the new season.

For Vasilevska, the promotion is a step toward regular senior appearances and further national team involvement; for Janta Volej, it confirms the club’s pathway from youth categories to senior competition.
