JEEJ! children's music show returns with curious stories and a portrait of Aleksandar Aco Sarievski
Third episode (Oct 24, 2026) blends curious musical stories, a short portrait of Aleksandar Aco Sarievski and playful learning for kids.

Skopje, October 26, 2026 – The third instalment of the children’s music programme JEEJ! brought a mix of curious anecdotes and familiar names from the musical world to its young audience.
In Saturday’s episode (aired October 24, 2026) the hosts Bibi, Bobi, Tina and Monika guided children through short stories and playful segments that showed how music can surprise — from a quirky item in Mozart’s life (a skolovranec kept as a pet) to a live-concert interruption when pianist Simon Trpchevski faced an unlikely rival: a fly that kept circling his head during a performance in Sombor.
Learning through play: music as a doorway
The programme mixes curious facts, games and brief portraits of important musicians so youngsters can recognise different styles and instruments at their own pace. One segment presented Aleksandar Aco Sarievski, honoured as one of the major interpreters of Macedonian folk music, as part of a short “Macedonian musical alphabet.”
Producers say the show emphasises discovery over pressure: it is not necessary for every child to become a musician, but each episode aims to give children chances to find what delights them — a rhythm that makes them move, a song that sparks a desire to sing, or an instrument that becomes a long-lasting memory.
The third episode of JEEJ! is available to watch on the YouTube channel Svetot na Bibi and on MagentaTV. All episodes can also be followed on the programme’s TikTok profile (@jeej.mkd). Organisers plan a total of eight episodes to be released by the end of 2026.
