The Melbourne-based singer shared a heartfelt birthday photo and said she will soon release the Macedonian song "Den kje dojde majko".

Young Macedonian singer Kajla Kominovska, known online as Kajla K., marked a milestone in Melbourne with a birthday celebration and a music announcement. Having lived and worked in Melbourne, Australia for years, she used the occasion of turning 18 to share a personal photo and a promise of new music for fans in the diaspora and at home.
In the image she posted Kajla posed smiling beside a heart-shaped cake topped with the number 18. Accompanying the photograph she wrote: "Today I celebrate 18 years! New single "Den kje dojde majko" and the production team
Along with the birthday news, Kajla revealed plans to release a new song titled Den kje dojde majko. For the project she worked with established collaborators: music and arrangement by Toshe Todorovski, lyrics by Anita Daeva, and audio and video production handled by professional teams from both the diaspora and North Macedonia.
The recording and video will feature traditional instruments and musicians, among them Aleksandar Icov on gaida and kaval, and contributions from Ljupcho Sokolovski of City Sound Studio. The clip also includes guests who bring Macedonian rhythmic and instrumental colors through drums and folk instrumentation.
Kajla has long been active in the Macedonian cultural scene in Melbourne. As a longtime dancer and vocalist with KUD "Nikola Karev" she often performs in traditional costume, presenting folk songs to younger audiences and linking generations through music.
Turning 18 has raised expectations among her followers, who praised her dedication to preserving Macedonian tradition abroad and voiced support for the upcoming release. Kajla's dual celebration — becoming an adult and announcing new material — underlines her commitment to keeping the folk heritage alive while building a musical career overseas.
