Kicevo musician Vlatko Stefanoski dies — his final post was on 8 August

The Macedonian music community is mourning the sudden death of Kičevo-born musician Vlatko Stefanoski, who was laid to rest in his native Kičevo yesterday. Colleagues and friends flooded social media with condolences and memories of his warmth and professionalism.
Among those who spoke publicly was folk singer Spasen Siljanoski, who wrote that "the music scene lost a man who was the epitome of friendship and sincerity." Broadcaster IN Television said Stefanoski leaves behind a void that will be difficult to fill.

Stefanoski's social profiles drew further emotion after people saw his final public message. His last post, shared on August 8, carried a religious greeting in honour of the Christian feast day and read: "St. Petka 08.08.2026. Many happy returns — may she be of help."
Young colleagues also paid tribute. Singer Vasilija Petrova posted a smiling photo with Stefanoski from a past performance and added a single white heart in the caption — a quiet symbol of respect and remembrance.
Stefanoski will be remembered for his dedication to music, his positive energy and the cheerful presence he brought to every stage.
