Kyiv hit again by Russian missiles and drones, multiple explosions early morning
Attack came hours after President Volodymyr Zelensky warned of a possible large strike; Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported an Obolon site hit.

Kyiv was struck again early this morning by a large Russian attack involving missiles and drones, officials and local reporters said. The assault came hours after President Volodymyr Zelensky warned of the danger of a new major strike on the capital.
Multiple explosions across the city
Local journalists reported a series of explosions across Kyiv in the early hours. "Missiles are falling one after another. As far as I can count, there were at least 10 to 12 explosions. It's quite noisy in the city center," a Kyiv Independent reporter said.
Vitali Klitschko, the mayor of Kyiv, said a non-residential building in the Obolon area was hit. Authorities have not yet published a full assessment of damage or casualties.
In the Podil district, journalists reported that warehouses were struck and that they saw flames and smoke rising from the area. Emergency services were reported to be responding, but details about the scale of destruction remain limited.
There is currently no official information about the overall extent of material damage. Kyiv officials have been urging residents to follow safety instructions and to stay tuned to municipal alerts as emergency services work at the scenes.
