Winner of Never Too Late celebrated his wife's birthday publicly and released a music video that stars her.
Kire Naunovski, best known for winning the age-focused talent show Never Too Late, marked his wife's birthday this week with a public, affectionate message and a new music video that puts her at the center.
A personal celebration turned public
On his Facebook page Kire posted a family photo with his wife and their two sons and added a short dedication: "My bride Maria Kirev — happy birthday." Fans responded quickly with congratulations and warm comments.
The singer has repeatedly said during the competition that family is his top priority, and his wife remained his steadfast supporter throughout the show. Kire dedicated several performances to her while competing and later released a song and video made for her.
The new single, transliterated as Dojdi mi mila vecherva, features Maria as the lead in the clip. Viewers on social networks praised the couple’s chemistry and predicted that the track could become a major folk hit.
Kire and Maria have been married for nearly two decades and live with their two children in Sveti Nikole. He entered the show as soon as he met the age requirement, explaining that music has been the constant of his life and his only career wish.
During the contest audiences often compared Kire’s distinctive voice to that of the late folk star Marinko Rokvic, and viewer support helped him win the competition. Maria has shared the music video on her own profile, where followers complimented her appearance and noted she looks like a model despite two pregnancies.
