Kocani: Drone entered apartments through balcony door and escaped
Residents say the device flew into sleeping bedrooms on 11 September; police notified a prosecutor and asked the Civil Aviation Agency to check flight reports.
On 11 September police in Kocani received a report that a drone had entered a residential building in the town centre and flown into occupied apartments.

According to the residents, the drone first passed through an open terrace door and into a bedroom while they were asleep; the sound of the propellers woke them. When the drone tried to leave the room it struck the glass of the balcony door. Moments later it flew into a second bedroom.
People in the apartment tried to bring the drone down, but the device managed to escape through the balcony door and flew away.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs says the incident was reported to police and that officers have taken investigative steps.
"A public prosecutor has been informed and a request has been submitted to the Civil Aviation Agency to check whether use of a drone in the area of Kocani Municipality was reported during the stated period. Proceedings are underway following the prosecutor's instructions, and after obtaining additional information on the case a report will be submitted to the Public Prosecutor's Office in Kocani," the Ministry said.
