Krste Krstev resigns as head coach of Osogovo
On October 12, 2026 Krstev announced an irrevocable resignation after Osogovo's 1:1 draw with Euromilk; the Second League club from Kocani is left without a coach.

Krste Krstev has submitted his irrevocable resignation as head coach of Osogovo, the club announced following the 1-1 home draw with Euromilk in Kocani on October 12, 2026. The result left the Second League side from Kocani without a coach and the board will need to begin searching for a replacement.
Krstev took charge two years ago at a moment when the club was close to collapse. Through what he described as hard work, faith and sacrifice, the team regained stability and last season emerged as a surprising success.
He pointed to this season’s difficulties — the departure of 14 players and a modest budget that left Osogovo with a thin squad — yet stressed that the team showed fight in the opening seven rounds.
Coach’s statement and reasons
In a post on social media Krstev wrote: "After two years of dedicated work, responsibility and struggle for the club, I have decided to submit my irrevocable resignation from the position of head of the coaching staff.
Two years ago, when the club was on the verge of collapse, I took on the responsibility at one of the most difficult moments. With a lot of work, faith, sacrifice and unity we managed to stabilize the club, and last season to be a real hit and a pleasant surprise.
This season, after the departure of 14 players and faced with a modest budget, we remained with a qualitatively thin roster. Despite all the challenges, we continued to fight and in the first seven rounds we gave a worthy resistance to every opponent, showing that heart, character and will can make up for much of what we lack in playing personnel.
However, football does not value only fighting spirit and effort, but also results. For moral reasons and out of a sense of personal responsibility towards the club, I believe it is time to step aside.
This decision was not made easily, nor is it the result of a lack of faith in the club or the players. On the contrary, I make it with a clear conscience, knowing how much we invested, what we went through and how much effort was required for the club to stand on its feet.
From the verge of collapse, we created stability and wrote a beautiful football story. I am proud of that and will never forget it.
I thank all the players, members of the coaching staff, the board and the supporters for the cooperation, support and shared moments. I wish the club much success, stability and a return to the path of victories.
Leaving the position does not mean that respect for the club ceases. Some decisions are difficult, but sometimes morals, principles and personal responsibility are more important than the position.
The resignation is irrevocable.
Sincerely, Krste Krstev"
