Kuzeska: Sime is not in prison, again with Mickoski, released to work for VMRO‑DPMNE in Brvenica

SDSM demanded that the prosecutor immediately investigate why the convicted S.Z., known in public as "Sime", is not in prison but working for the ruling party, SDSM spokesperson Bogdanka Kuzeska said at a press conference today.

According to Kuzeska, S.Z. was sentenced for offences related to drugs and weapons; instead of serving his sentence he is at liberty and has been allowed to work for VMRO‑DPMNE in Brvenica.

Request for an immediate probe

At the briefing Kuzeska asked prosecutors to explain how a person with a criminal sentence for drugs and arms can be outside detention and employed by the party in power. She also said the individual is "again with Mickoski."

SDSM called on the prosecution service to act without delay and clarify whether any legal exceptions or procedural failures permitted S.Z.'s release and subsequent employment by VMRO‑DPMNE in Brvenica.

The opposition party framed the case as a matter that requires an urgent public response from state institutions; Kuzeska put the question directly to the prosecuting authorities at the press event.
