Bus line 35 will be extended to Radishani, giving Butel a direct link to Aerodrom
Butel mayor Darko Kostovski announced the extension and said a trial service will run soon; permanent status depends on passenger interest.

Skopje, 20 September 2026, 13:00 — Bus line 35 will be extended to the Radishani neighbourhood, giving residents of the Butel municipality a direct public-transport connection with another part of the city.
The announcement came from Butel mayor Darko Kostovski, who said the administrative procedure to lengthen the route has been completed and the parties involved have reached an agreement on the change.
Agreement and partners
Kostovski said the extension was agreed with City of Skopje mayor Orce Gjorgjievski and with the director of the public transport company JSP. The plan is for the extended service to run to Radishani, linking Butel and Aerodrom by a single bus line.
“These days we will present the new timetable, and in a few days a trial service will be launched that will run to the final stop of line 57 in Radishani,” Kostovski announced.
The extended section will operate initially on a trial basis. If passenger demand is sufficient, the new routing is expected to be retained permanently.
Kostovski also thanked the City of Skopje and JSP for their cooperation and expressed gratitude to Butel residents for their proposals and initiatives. The new timetable and the start date for the trial run will be published in the coming days.
