North Macedonia 113th at inaugural U15 World Cup in Baku
The first U15 tournament in Baku featured 189 teams; North Macedonia finished 113th after roughly ten matches.

The inaugural FIFA U15 World Cup concluded on October 31, 2026, in Baku, Azerbaijan, with North Macedonia among the participants.
Designed as a global showcase played under special regulations on a shortened football field, the first edition featured 189 national teams from around the world. North Macedonia completed the competition in 113th place after around ten matches against a variety of opponents.
Tournament format and Macedonia's run
The event used modified playing conditions and a condensed schedule to accommodate the large number of teams. North Macedonia faced a range of styles and opponents during the group and placement stages, accumulating experience rather than headline results.
Among neighbouring teams, Albania finished in 17th place, while Bosnia and Herzegovina secured 20th on the final classification.
The debut U15 World Cup in Baku offered younger players international exposure and a chance for national setups to test development pathways under tournament conditions.
