North Macedonia U17 lose 4:3 to Montenegro in Kolašin
Hosts raced into a 4-0 lead; North Macedonia scored three times in the second half but fell short.
North Macedonia's U17 women's team was defeated 4:3 by Montenegro in a second friendly played in Kolašin on 24 September 2026.
Montenegro opened the scoring in the 17th minute through Tina Janketić. Five minutes before the break Sofija Velinova put the ball into her own net, and two minutes later Teodora Cebalović made it 3:0 for the hosts. The fourth goal came at the start of the second half from Sofija Vlaović.
Late surge not enough
The visitors staged a comeback attempt in the second half. In the 53rd minute Elena Naumoska reduced the deficit to 4:1; eight minutes later Anja Karanfilovska scored North Macedonia's second goal. Gloria Todorovska then struck in the second minute of stoppage time to close the scoring at 4:3.
