Mateus Lemos, who was presented in Arachinovo – offered to Shtip!
After being presented in Arachinovo this summer, the winger has been offered to Bregalnica (Shtip) while his status at Shkëndija remains uncertain.

30.07.2026 11:58 — Mateus Lemos, the former winger of Vardar, this summer was presented as one of the main reinforcements of Shkëndija Arachinovo, but now information is arriving that he has been offered to Bregalnica (Shtip) and that his status is uncertain.
Lemos was introduced among the first signings of the newly promoted First League club and was announced as a significant reinforcement for the attack. However, he did not appear in the season opener against Struga Trim Ljum, and complications emerged after his presentation.
From Bregalnica (Shtip) comes information that the footballer has been offered to them and that the club is making inquiries into his qualities and form before a possible signing. In assessing his playing level, clubs also take into account the fact that he left Vardar two years ago after a serious injury.
The injury and the uncertain future
According to available data, Lemos left Vardar two years ago with a serious injury (torn ligaments), which clubs consider when evaluating a potential transfer. That injury remains a relevant factor in decisions about his short-term future.
It is not clear whether Lemos is still part of Shkëndija Arachinovo — although he was officially presented — or whether he will move to Bregalnica, and the option of a transfer to a third team, Bashkimi, is not excluded. From Shtip they say they are conducting checks on the player before making a decision.
If the transfer is completed, it will be an early change in the domestic season for a player whose summer presentation suggested he would have a stable role in the Arachinovo side.
