Skopje International Airport and Ohrid St. Apostle Paul Airport, both operated by TAV Macedonia, served a combined 3,651,073 passengers in the period from 1 January to 25 October 2026. That figure represents a 28% increase compared with the same stretch of 2025.

During the same period the two airports handled 24,232 flights, marking a 10% rise year-on-year. The volume of passengers and movements reflects continued recovery and growth in air travel demand for North Macedonia so far this year.

October trend

The positive momentum carried into October. From 1 to 25 October 2026 the airports recorded 321,953 passengers — 24% more than in the identical period in 2025 — and operated 2,085 flights, an increase of 9% compared with 1–25 October 2025.

Airport officials say the seasonal uptick, combined with expanded international connections and higher load factors on several routes, helped lift passenger traffic during the autumn month.

Overall, the figures through 25 October indicate that both hubs are on course for a significantly stronger year than 2025, with growth both in passenger numbers and flight movements.

TAV Macedonia continues to operate Skopje International Airport and Ohrid St. Apostle Paul Airport as the main gateways for international and regional travel to North Macedonia.
