Melsungen warns fans that Vardar away match in Skopje may be rescheduled

Melsungen has warned supporters that its Champions League away match against Vardar in Skopje, currently set for 28 October, could be moved to another date.

The German Bundesliga club appears in the same group as Vardar, Wisła and Nantes after the European Handball Federation (EHF) published the group-stage schedule for the new season. Melsungen and Vardar previously met last season in the EHF European League.

On the club’s official website Melsungen cautioned fans that the fixture in Skopje may not take place on the published date. “The away match in Skopje may be rescheduled. We will inform you about the new date in due time,” the note says.

Because the club is signalling a possible change, Melsungen advised supporters not to buy flights to Skopje yet, since the match could be rearranged for a different day.

The announcement leaves travel-planning uncertainty for fans who want to attend the game in North Macedonia; the club promised to provide the revised date as soon as it is confirmed.
