Mickoski and Đuro Macut discussed deepening bilateral cooperation
Mickoski: Regional challenges, economic ties and infrastructure projects were reviewed at the meeting with the Serbian prime minister.
The Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Hristijan Mickoski, announced that he met with the Prime Minister of Serbia, Đuro Macut, and that at the meeting views were exchanged on several key topics of mutual interest to the two countries.
“In an open and constructive conversation we exchanged views on current regional challenges, opportunities to deepen bilateral cooperation, economic relations, infrastructure connectivity and joint initiatives that will contribute to greater development and prosperity of the two states,” the Macedonian prime minister posted on Facebook.
According to the announcement, the talks related to issues that have both short-term and long-term significance for regional stability and development, with an emphasis on economic cooperation and infrastructure links as a basis for greater economic progress.
“We confirmed our joint determination to further advance friendly relations, based on mutual respect, good-neighborly cooperation and a shared interest in a stable and prosperous region,” Mickoski adds in the post.
The written statement did not list additional detailed agreements or concrete deadlines; the focus was on the intention to deepen cooperation and strengthen economic and infrastructure ties.
