Mickoski in Germany — talks with Deutsche Telekom and German Chamber on investments
Meetings in Düsseldorf and Bonn focused on potential investments in telecommunications, healthcare and smart technologies to boost North Macedonia’s economy.

Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said he held meetings with representatives of Deutsche Telekom and the German Chamber of Commerce during his visit to Germany, focusing on attracting new investments and expanding existing operations in North Macedonia.
Priorities and sectors discussed
In a video address from Düsseldorf, Mickoski said his agenda included a meeting with Deutsche Telekom’s leadership in Bonn where they explored opportunities for additional investments in the Macedonian telecommunications market and beyond.
"What we discussed today with the chief executive of Deutsche Telekom are their potential additional investments in Macedonia, in the Macedonian telecommunications market, but we did not limit ourselves to that. We also talked about potential investments by Deutsche Telekom in other areas such as healthcare, smart technology and other types of industries that will bring significant added value to the Macedonian economy and thus increase Deutsche Telekom's presence in Macedonia, but also in the region," Mickoski said in the video address.
He also met with representatives of the German Chamber of Commerce, where both companies already active in North Macedonia and firms interested in entering the market were present.
"We talked about their past experiences, how to make their investments more successful, but at the same time we talked about increasing their investments and capacities, which would also increase the gross domestic product of the Macedonian economy," he said.
Mickoski described the day as successful and said his visit to Germany will continue tomorrow.
