Ministry to launch five digital platforms for emissions, illegal-dump mapping and archive access
Five new platforms will publish emissions data, map illegal dumps with video capability and digitize the ministry archive.

On 28 October 2026 the Minister of Environment, Muamet Hodža, announced that five new digital platforms will soon be made available to citizens to provide information on the country’s environmental status.
The platforms will include data on emissions from polluters that hold A‑integrated permits, mapped locations of illegal (wild) dumps with the option for video surveillance, and a dedicated section with details about projects implemented by the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning.
As part of the package, the ministry plans to digitize its institutional archive to make documents easier to access for the public and for administrative use.
Administrative simplification and workflow reduction
Officials said the reforms will simplify internal administrative procedures and are expected to eliminate around 30 procedural steps in processes carried out at the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning.
The ministry presented the measures as aiming to increase transparency and accelerate citizen access to records, while strengthening monitoring and enforcement through public-facing data and video-capable mapping of illegal dumping sites.
No exact public launch date was specified beyond the ministry’s statement that the platforms will be available "soon" to the public; development and rollout are being handled by the ministry’s digital teams.
