Police say an emergency doctor found no visible signs of violence; a public prosecutor ordered an autopsy.
A 38-year-old man from Shtip was found dead inside his home, the police reported.
The discovery prompted an immediate police response and legal steps to establish the cause of death.
“Yesterday at 02:45 the Shtip Police Department received a report that A.P.(38) from Shtip was found dead in his home. A doctor from the Emergency Medical Service pronounced death with no visible signs of violence, and by order of a public prosecutor the body of the deceased was handed over for autopsy,” the police said.
Autopsy ordered to clarify circumstances
Authorities said the body was transferred for a forensic autopsy, which will determine the precise cause and time of death. No further details were released while the examination and related procedures are ongoing.
The case remains under investigation by local police and the public prosecutor’s office. Officials did not report any immediate indications of foul play but said the autopsy results will guide the next steps of the inquiry.
