Young man from Skopje (35) dies after being brought unconscious to Mother Teresa Clinical Centre

A 35-year-old man from Skopje was brought unconscious to the Clinical Centre "Mother Teresa" and died shortly after arrival, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
According to the police bulletin, "On 24.09.2026 at 16:54 hours the Gazi Baba Police Station received a report from the Clinical Centre 'Mother Teresa' that F.R. (35) from Skopje had been brought to them unconscious, who soon after died."
The ministry said it has handed the body over for an autopsy to determine the cause of death and is not releasing further information at this time.
"A doctor pronounced death, and by order of the public prosecutor the body of the deceased was given for autopsy," the police note adds.
Authorities have not provided details on how the man came to be unconscious or any immediate suspicions about the circumstances. Investigators will rely on the autopsy findings and any follow-up inquiries to establish the sequence of events.
No additional information about relatives, witnesses or whether criminal charges are being considered was included in the police report. The Ministry of Internal Affairs said it will update the public when new facts emerge.
