North Macedonia U21 travel to Falkenberg ahead of Sweden match
Aleksandar Tanevski's young squad play Sweden on 5 October 2026 at Falcon Alkoholfri Arena with the qualifying round ending.

The North Macedonia under-21 side has flown to Sweden ahead of tomorrow's final qualifying match, aiming to close the campaign on a positive note under new head coach Aleksandar Tanevski.
The team will face Sweden on 5 October 2026 at 18:30 local time at the Falcon Alkoholfri Arena in Falkenberg.
Form and standings
North Macedonia arrive in Falkenberg on the back of a 1:1 draw with Montenegro in Bitola, a match in which they had fallen behind but recovered to secure the draw. The squad currently sits on seven points in the group table.
Sweden occupy the spot immediately above North Macedonia with 10 points but are no longer able to contest for one of the top two qualifying places. Armenia remain at the bottom of the group with zero points.
Coach Aleksandar Tanevski will use the match to test his players and seek another positive result on foreign soil as the qualifying series concludes.
