Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade announces 16 internships — apply by October 15, 2026
Paid 20-hour-per-week internships for undergraduate and postgraduate students who are Macedonian citizens.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade has published a public call to recruit 16 interns who will gain on-the-job experience at the ministry. The announcement sets the application deadline at October 15, 2026, and states that interns will receive a monthly monetary allowance.
Who may apply and study fields
Applications are open to undergraduate and postgraduate students up to 30 years of age who are citizens of North Macedonia and currently unemployed. Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of English at least at B1 level; knowledge of a second foreign language is considered an advantage.
The call accepts students from several fields, including political science, international relations, law, economics, management, computer science, telecommunications and cyber security.
Selected interns will work four hours a day, Monday through Friday, totaling 20 hours per week. The stated purpose is for participants to acquire practical knowledge and skills in foreign policy, international relations, law, economics and administrative work.
To apply, candidates must submit a short CV, a certificate confirming regular student status, proof of English language proficiency and a written application. Documents may be sent electronically to sucr@mfa.gov.mk, delivered to the ministry's archive in person, or mailed by post.
After the application deadline, a selection process will be carried out and contracts for internship work will be signed with those chosen.
