Ministry of Internal Affairs denies claim that an applicant was skipped in the Secondary Police School "7th May" selection

The Ministry of Internal Affairs said it is rebutting public claims that an applicant for entry to the Secondary Police School "7th May" was not invited to the motor skills test despite meeting the conditions of the public call.

According to the ministry, the selection process is still ongoing and is being carried out in several consecutive phases. Only candidates who have successfully passed the administrative selection are invited to the motor skills check.

What the administrative selection checks

As part of the administrative screening the ministry verifies, among other things, that a candidate has at least a "good" overall success in the two completed years of secondary education and that no pedagogical measures were imposed on them at the school where they completed the first and second year.

In the specific case under discussion, the ministry says the applicant was not called for the motor skills check because they did not pass the administrative selection — in other words, they did not meet all the conditions verified at that stage.

After the entire procedure is completed, candidates will be notified of the outcome of the selection and, according to the prescribed procedure, will be given access to review the documentation.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs appealed to the public not to spread inaccurate or unconfirmed information before the process is officially finished and reiterated that the selection is conducted professionally, in line with the criteria of the public call and with equal treatment for all applicants.
