MZT Skopje sign national team guard Petar Boshaleski

MZT Skopje announced the signing of 22-year-old national team guard Petar Boshaleski (197 cm), who officially put pen to paper with the club on August 12, 2026.

Boshaleski is a shooting guard who progressed through all youth national selections and this summer made his first senior appearances — playing the initial two matches for North Macedonia in the first phase of the pre-qualifiers for EuroBasket 2029.

Club career and last season

The Ohrid-born player began his Superleague career at Rabotnicki, later moved to Pelister and spent last season with Tikvesh. Across 27 domestic league games he averaged 12.4 points, 5.6 rebounds and two assists, performances that earned him a place in the senior national squad.

Boshaleski is MZT Skopje's third domestic signing for the new campaign, following the returns of Luka Stojanovski and Nikola Vasilevski. The club has also secured four internationals: Americans Leslie Warner and Noah Farahan, Bosnian center Emir Krajinic and Serbian center Dimitrije Nikolic.

Existing contracts include Damjan and Vojdan Stojanovski, Andrej Maslinko and Andrej Andonoski, while Vasko Atanasov will remain as head coach.

MZT Skopje will compete next season in domestic competitions, the ABA2 League and the FIBA EuroCup.
