Nadica and Bubi Ademov film emotional video in family home

Barely three months after the big finale of Zvezde Granda, young singer Bubi Ademov returned with three new songs and music videos: "Vrata kuće", "Dete sreće" and "Nebo nam je granica". Although he did not win the competition, the releases underline that steady work and strong songs can open doors on the regional scene.

The track that drew the most attention is the ballad "Vrata kuće", a duet with his older sister Nadica Ademov — one of the region's best-known folk performers. The sibling collaboration arrived with a highly personal video that has become the centrepiece of the campaign around Bubi's new material.

The video for "Vrata kuće" was filmed in the family's own house. It interweaves present-day footage of the siblings with original childhood photographs and intimate interior details, a visual thread meant to show the path from modest beginnings to a stage career.

Roots and memories

Nadica Ademov was born in Skopje; as a child the family relocated to Subotica. Both siblings built their careers on the Balkan stage, but their origin and family ties remain at the heart of the story. Their parents worked at a marketplace, and the family remembers a childhood marked by financial hardship and long days spent together at the stalls.

The emotional response has been immediate on social media. Nadica wrote about the shoot: "So many tears during this shoot, if only you knew... To your health, Bubi, we've taken off! Now only sense in your head!" Bubi shared his own reflections on the three releases: "Three songs... Three completely different stories... Three emotions... And they are all part of me! One for a person who was not a lucky child. One for the mother who waits for her children. One for the love to which only the sky is the limit. I am proud of everything we made and this for me is only a very significant beginning."

The duet and the accompanying visuals have drawn praise from listeners, many of whom say the family and marital themes strike a deep emotional chord. Nadica, whose career also began on Zvezde Granda, today enjoys considerable commercial success and is regarded as one of the better-paid performers on the Balkans.
