New BMW X5 and 7 Series Sedan officially presented in North Macedonia

BMW presented the new-generation X5 and the new 7 Series Sedan today to the Macedonian public, bringing two distinct interpretations of luxury and technology to local showrooms. Both models aim to combine a strong design identity with comfort and digital features that reshape the in‑car experience.

Familiar names, refreshed directions

The fifth‑generation X5 arrives as a re‑written chapter in a line that began in 1999. From the outside it adopts the Neue Klasse design language, with a more monolithic stance, BMW Iconic Glow grille and new double‑X lighting signatures. Wheel choices range from 21 to 23 inches, and new BMW Winglet door handles pair with electric opening and Soft‑Close function.

Inside the X5, technologies aim for intuitive use: BMW Panoramic Vision, a 3D Head‑Up Display and the new BMW Panoramic iDrive form the cockpit’s digital core. The model reaches almost five metres in length, offering more space and an interior that blends elegance with a modern character.

"And precisely that story of constantly pushing boundaries continues today. At first glance it is clear that the X5 has not come only to continue a successful story, but to write the next chapter. The new BMW X5 enters its fifth generation with a more confident look, more space and an interior that combines elegance with the model's modern character. With almost five metres in length, the X5 is even more spacious, and attention to detail is noticeable in every part of the cabin. If there is a model for which 'The boss is back!' fits perfectly, then it is the new BMW X5," said Boris Janevski, senior consultant for BMW vehicles at M Kar.

Under the bonnet the X5 range is diverse from launch: mild‑hybrid petrol and mild‑hybrid diesel variants are available immediately. From January 2027 the lineup expands with plug‑in hybrids — the X5 50e and X5 M60e — and a fully electric iX5, giving buyers multiple drivetrain choices.

The new 7 Series Sedan focuses squarely on luxury. The seventh generation introduces heightened personalization, premium materials and rear‑seat amenities such as the BMW Theatre Screen: a 31.3‑inch display with 8K resolution designed to turn journeys into private cinema experiences. Panoramic Vision and Panoramic iDrive add a new layer of digital intuitiveness to the cabin.

Initial powertrain options for the 7 Series Sedan include one mild‑hybrid petrol and three fully electric variants; from November the range will be complemented with a mild‑hybrid diesel and plug‑in hybrids. More than 500 exterior colours and combinations are offered to emphasise individuality.

"The new BMW X5 and BMW 7 Series Sedan show that a car can be much more than a means of transport — it can be a personal choice that reflects the character, needs and individuality of its owner. For us at M Kar, the essence is not only in the variety of the offer, but in the uniqueness of each car and the way it connects with the person it was made for. The BMW X5 and BMW 7 Series Sedan have different characters, but a common idea — each car should offer an experience that is personal, recognisable and unique to its owner," said Biljana Kolemishevska, head of marketing communications and PR at M Kar.
