From 30 minutes to one hour waiting at Tabanovce and Bogorodica
Automobile and Motorcycle Association of Macedonia (AMSM): 30 minutes to one hour for entry and exit, appeal for careful driving on risky roads
The waiting time for entry to and exit from the country at the Tabanovce and Bogorodica border crossings ranges from 30 minutes to one hour, the Automobile and Motorcycle Association of Macedonia (AMSM) reported.
According to AMSM traffic information, at the other border crossings on the North Macedonian side there are no long delays for entry to or exit from the country.
AMSM appeals to drivers to adjust their speed according to road conditions, to obey traffic signs and to drive carefully, especially on roads that pass through basins, river valleys and gorges where there is a possibility of landslides.
Sections requiring increased attention
The following sections are indicated as particularly risky:
- Katlanovo – Veles
- Mavrovo – Debar – Struga
- Vinica – Berovo
- Kochani – Delchevo
Drivers are urged to check conditions before setting off, to maintain a safe distance and to be cautious when passing through these parts of the road network, especially in adverse weather, in order to reduce the risk of incidents.
